My Name Is Khan is much awaited 2010 Bollywood movie starring Shahrukh Khan and Kajol. The film is directed by Karan Johar, with a screenplay by Shibani Bathija, and produced by Hiroo Yash Johar and Gauri Khan.

The film is going to be screened in Berlin in International Film Festival will be held from Feb 11 to 21, 2010.

“My Name Is Khan is not about terrorism, or 9/11. It’s about a relationship between two people, between an individual and the State, and between an individual and the country. In short, there the three important components: love story, Islam and a mild form of autism.” Shah Rukh Khan said

My Name is Khan is set post 9/11 and focuses on the discrimination Rizwan Khan faces as he is a Muslim.

Rizwan Khan (Shah Rukh Khan) suffers from Asperger’s Syndrome, a type of Autism. He falls in love with a Hindu woman Mandira (Kajol) who is also a single mother living in San Francisco. The terror attacks and how it affects their relationship and life is the theme of the movie.
